ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
60 credit hours – Associate in Arts degree
36 general education hours – Hours are to meet the Florida Liberal Studies requirements to transfer.
24 elective – Additional courses will be evaluated as to whether they apply to the major and, if so, will transfer and thereby reduce the total number of hours required for the degree.
DEGREE REQUIREMENTS
120 credit hours total with at least 45 hours in courses 3000 or above.
60 hours total beyond the AA degree.
48 credit hours in public safety and security with specific requirements of:
6 core courses (18 hours) completed with a grade of C or better.

These may be used for an internship or certificate in Public Safety and Security, or a minor or double major in a department or program outside the College of Applied Studies.

 

The 20-course program is designed for 2 or 4 courses per semester resulting in 10 semesters or 5 semesters respectively to complete.

The initial courses are being delivered Fall 2011 with the remainder of the courses prepared for delivery in the next four semesters.
